Sprint is committed to handling personal information openly and responsibly. This policy is intended to reflect the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) where they apply to Sprint.
1. Personal information we may collect
The information we collect depends on how you interact with Sprint. It may include:
- identity and contact information, such as your name, email address, telephone number and location;
- business information, including company name, role, workforce needs, company size, timing and enquiry details;
- applicant and employment-related information, such as a CV, qualifications, work history, references, interview notes, work rights and other recruitment information;
- communications with Sprint, including emails, calls, meeting notes, feedback and complaints;
- billing, contract and relationship-management information for clients and suppliers; and
- technical and usage information, such as IP address, browser, device, referral source and website interactions collected through cookies or analytics tools.
We generally collect sensitive information only where it is reasonably necessary, permitted by law and collected with consent or another lawful basis.
2. How we collect personal information
We may collect information directly from you when you:
- submit a website form, email or telephone enquiry;
- apply for a role or participate in recruitment and onboarding;
- enter into, administer or discuss a client, supplier or employment relationship;
- attend a meeting, event or webinar; or
- interact with our website, social channels or marketing communications.
We may also receive information from authorised representatives, referrals, recruitment sources, professional networks, publicly available sources, clients, service providers and related entities where lawful and appropriate.
3. Why we collect, hold and use personal information
We may use personal information to:
- respond to enquiries and assess whether Sprint can assist;
- recruit, screen, employ, onboard and support professionals;
- provide and improve workforce, recruitment, HR and related services;
- manage client, applicant, employee, supplier and partner relationships;
- prepare proposals, contracts, invoices, reports and service communications;
- operate, secure, analyse and improve the website and business systems;
- send relevant business communications and direct marketing where permitted, with an opt-out available; and
- meet legal, regulatory, insurance, safety, fraud-prevention and record-keeping obligations.
If required information is not provided, Sprint may be unable to respond, assess an application or provide the relevant service.
4. Cookies and analytics
Sprint may use essential cookies and, where enabled, analytics or similar technologies to understand website use, remember preferences, improve performance and measure marketing. Browser settings can be used to restrict cookies, although some website features may not work as intended.
5. When we may disclose personal information
We may disclose personal information where reasonably necessary to:
- related entities and operational teams involved in delivering Sprint's services;
- clients or prospective clients where relevant to recruitment or service delivery and authorised or otherwise lawful;
- technology, cloud hosting, communications, CRM, payroll, recruitment, background-check, professional-advice and other service providers;
- insurers, auditors, legal advisers, regulators, law-enforcement bodies or courts; or
- a purchaser or adviser in connection with a proposed or completed business transaction.
We do not sell personal information.
6. Overseas disclosure
Sprint operates across Australia and Sri Lanka. Personal information may be disclosed to authorised recipients in Sri Lanka where this is reasonably necessary for recruitment, employment support, operations or service delivery. Some technology providers may also process information outside Australia. Sprint takes reasonable steps appropriate to the circumstances when engaging service providers and managing cross-border information flows.
7. Storage, security and retention
Sprint takes reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Controls may include access restrictions, authentication, contractual obligations, staff procedures and secure technology services.
Personal information is retained only for as long as reasonably required for the purpose collected, legal and operational requirements, dispute management and legitimate record keeping. It is then deleted, destroyed or de-identified where appropriate.
No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. If an eligible data breach occurs, Sprint will respond and provide notifications as required by applicable law.
8. Access and correction
You may request access to personal information Sprint holds about you or ask for it to be corrected. We may need to verify your identity and may refuse or limit access where permitted by law. If we cannot provide access or make a requested correction, we will explain the reason where required.
9. Direct marketing
Where permitted, Sprint may use contact details to send relevant information about services, events or insights. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe facility in the communication or by contacting us. Operational and relationship messages may still be sent where necessary.
10. Privacy complaints
Please send a privacy concern or complaint in writing using the contact details below. We will acknowledge it and aim to respond within a reasonable period, generally within 30 days. If you are not satisfied after giving Sprint an opportunity to respond, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

We may update this policy as our practices, services, technology or legal obligations change. The current version and last-updated date will be published on this website.
